Global Steering Committee & Advisory Board
A Global Steering Committee (GSC) has been established to guide the 1BC, ensure shared ownership, and provide strategic direction at the global level. The GSC serves as the governing board of the 1BC, promoting an ever-expanding network of partners across geographies and sectors.
The GSC will help define common measures of success and oversee the creation of platforms to connect and support one billion people to create and share solutions that help people prepare for, respond to and recovery from shocks and hazards.
An Advisory Board has also been established to provide 1BC the benefit of strategic, thematics, and geographic expertise and engagement around the shared resilience agenda of members.
